Meet Attorney Barry Bostrom

BarryBarry Bostrom has worked with nonprofits as a lawyer and volunteer for more than 25 years.

He has been president of the National Legal Center for the Medically Dependent & Disabled Inc. for many years, publishing a professional law and medicine journal and providing legal assistance to people with intellectual
disabilities.

Barry was a member of the Ethics Committee for Martin Luther Homes (now Mosaic); the committee was active in establishing policies
and procedures with a view to protecting the rights of residents. He also was a member of the Bioethics Committee of Terre Haute Regional Hospital, giving patients and families a forum for
discussing end-of-life decisions.

As an ordained minister, Barry has served small churches in the Methodist and Lutheran
traditions that are unable to afford a full-time minister.

He is a member of the Episcopal Church.
