Andrew Emhardt

Andrew Emhardt was born and raised in Indianapolis. He went to Lawrence Central High School where he graduated with an International Baccalaureate Diploma. As an undergraduate, he attended DePauw University and majored in Political Science. He then attended IU McKinney School of Law where he focused on Criminal Law and Environmental Law. He also attended IUPUI’s School of Public and Environmental Affairs, with a major in Nonprofit Management. He graduated with a joint JD/MPA Degree in 2014.

For nearly six years, Andrew was a Deputy Prosecutor with the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office, where he was an Assistant Supervisor in a specialized major felony unit. He represented the State of Indiana in eighteen jury trials and was responsible for the disposition of over 1,000 cases from misdemeanors to Level 1 Felonies. Andrew joined Charitable Allies to continue his endeavor to make the world a better place. He lives in Broad Ripple with his wife and two young sons.

Andrew is licensed to practice law in Indiana and can practice in other jurisdictions as permitted by that state’s rules on the multi-jurisdictional practice of law.
