As the Nonprofit Compliance Coordinator, La’Kanyere plays an essential role in our organization, overseeing a wide range of compliance-related tasks. She collaborates closely with our nonprofit attorneys, ensuring that clients receive thorough guidance on founding, reinstating, and maintaining compliance for their nonprofits. La’Kanyere was born in Detroit, Michigan, and spent her much of her childhood and teen years in Thomasville, Georgia. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Florida A&M University and later pursued a Master’s in Community Counseling and a second Master’s in Philanthropic Studies.

Currently living in the Indianapolis area, La’Kanyere enjoys a fulfilling family life. She is the proud grandmother of her two-year-old grandson, Caleb, affectionately nicknamed “Moonch.” During her free time she enjoys watching shows and movies with Caleb.
