About the Position
We’re seeking an Account Executive, based in Indianapolis IN. The ideal candidate for this position is a goal-oriented, extroverted professional who wants to use their skills to help nonprofits make an impact (without making any cold calls!). After a period of training, you’ll be on Zoom sales calls daily with potential clients (nonprofit leaders and founders nationwide) who will be handed off to you after being qualified by the intake team. No legal training or expertise is needed, but being a quick learner with a positive attitude is a plus. We will provide training on our various services and packages. You’ll also be expected to keep timely and accurate records of sales progress in Salesforce and meet or exceed sales goals to earn monthly bonuses. Responsibilities:
- Engaging with potential clients over Zoom and phone calls to assess their needs and match them with a solution (no legal experience or cold calls required)
- Meeting and exceeding sales goals (including number of potential client consultations per day, close rate, etc.)
- Communicating with potential clients and internal staff in a friendly and timely manner
- Managing relationships with potential clients, including answering questions via phone, zoom, and email
- Learning and using our technology systems to enter details about sales calls and send out e-signature contracts
- Entering data into salesforce to ensure records are kept accurate and up-to-date
- Conferring with legal staff to answer any complex questions that come up within the sales process
- Learning the various packages and services we offer clients and leveraging information to upsell when appropriate
- Providing insight to the marketing team about lead quality and marketing collateral materials provided to potential clients
- Other duties as needed
Qualifications
- 1-5 years of sales experience, with a proven track record of success
- Excellent relationship-building skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
- Attention to detail
- Great communication skills, both verbally and in writing
- Desire to help nonprofit organizations reach their missions
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple relationships at once
- Desire to learn and grow in career
- Personal and professional integrity and business ethics, as well as respect for others
- Proficient in basic business technology (Gmail, Microsoft Word, Google Drive, Excel, etc.)
- Ability to learn how to use software like Salesforce for data entry purposes (prior experience not needed)
- Positive and “can do” attitude
Education
- BA/BS Degree preferred, but not required
Compensation and Benefits
This full-time position has a base salary between $50,000-$60,000 annually (dependent upon experience), with opportunities for monthly bonuses dependent on set performance metrics (close rate, number of sales consultations per day, etc.). With bonuses, the position has the opportunity to make up to $150,000 annually. Additional benefits include options such as our 403(b) Retirement Savings Plan with a 5% employer match, health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, paid opportunities for professional development and continuing education, and other personal and professional benefits.
Work Location
Charitable Allies is located next to the Pyramids on the northwest side of Indianapolis, at 9100 Purdue Road, Suite 115, Indianapolis, IN 46268. Plan to work from this office at least 4 days per week, with the opportunity to work remotely the other day per week (after an initial period of training).
