Olivia Cloer is the Interim CEO of Charitable Allies, a nonprofit law firm that serves over 2,000 nonprofit organizations nationwide. With experience in the nonprofit world including volunteer coordination, grant writing, program operations, fundraising, automation, and finance, Olivia is well-versed in the many hats nonprofit leaders wear. Olivia is the author of one book, with the 2nd titled How to Start a Nonprofit set for release in 2026. She holds a certification as a Salesforce Administrator, a BA in Communications and English from DePauw University, and is a Class VII Fellow of the Mitch Daniels Leadership Foundation. Robert Miller is the Managing Attorney of Charitable Allies. For nearly a decade, Robert Miller has served nonprofit organizations as their trusted legal counsel and advisor. His extensive experience in nonprofit law includes a $45 million dollar merger, program-related investment for a $65 million dollar multi-entity nonprofit, restructuring and sucession planning for multi-site churches and advises on nonprofit partnerships for large scale community projects. But Robert is also a big believer that even the smallest nonprofits can make a massive impact in peoples’ lives. He has personally helped start more than 200 nonprofit organizations across the country. Robert was recently selected for the Indiana State Bar Associations Leadership Academy. On the podcast, Robert applies his legal lens to common nonprofit challenges like board conflict and navigating restricted donations.
