Robert Miller serves as the Interim Managing Attorney of Charitable Allies. For nearly a decade, Robert Miller has served nonprofits as their trusted legal counsel and advisor. His extensive experience in complex aspects of nonprofit law includes a $45 million dollar merger of nonprofits, legal advice on compliance and program-related investments for a $65 million dollar multi-entity nonprofit, restructuring and succession planning for large multi-site churches, and advising on partnerships between nonprofits and for-profits for large scale community projects. But Robert is also a big believer that even the smallest nonprofits can make a massive impact in peoples’ lives. He enjoys helping small clients who are tackling community problems in innovative ways– whether it’s an organization using mobile showers to help the homeless or a research organization looking to treat a disease in a new way.
He leads our team of experienced nonprofit attorneys in serving our nonprofit clients nationwide. Robert leads with an immense depth of knowledge, as well as a passion for serving nonprofits who otherwise couldn’t afford legal services.
Robert lives in Plainfield with his wife, two children and their dog. Robert is also a board game enthusiast who enjoys a wide variety of tabletop games.
