Nonprofit Law Firm Projected to Serve 100% More Charities Following New Website Launch

Indianapolis, IN—Charitable Allies, a nonprofit legal aid law firm based in Indianapolis, announced the total redesign and launch of their website on Aug. 29. The new website is designed to expand charitable organizations’ access to affordable legal services and educational resources for nonprofit professionals.

The firm’s award winning web developer, Lifted Logic, anticipates the firm will see 100% growth in the number of nonprofits seeking their services following an analysis of the firm’s current data and projected market penetration. This news comes in the wake of demand for low-cost nonprofit legal services spiking during the pandemic, resulting in Charitable Allies’ clientele tripling in size between 2019 and 2022.

Nonprofits can use Charitable Allies’ interactive tool on the new website to be matched with the legal team best suited for their needs. The tool allows the attorneys to provide custom assistance based on their programs, size, services requested and more.

The site update also includes increased access to a database of free resources for nonprofit professionals, covering topics such as best practices for board members, compliance education, tips for startups and other material written by the attorneys.

“Since we serve nonprofits in 49 states out of our office in Indiana, our services rely heavily on the quality of our online presence and digital communication,” Marketing and Operations Director Olivia Cloer said. “We aim to meet the growing need for affordable legal services for nonprofit organizations who have been historically underserved.”

Charitable Allies assists tax-exempt organizations by helping them navigate complex legal issues. These concerns commonly include issues of compliance, litigation and helping nonprofit founders acquire 501(c)(3) status for new charitable organizations. As a nonprofit themselves, Charitable Allies provides these services using a “low-bono” model, meaning services cost half or below fair market value.

CEO and Managing Attorney Zac Kester attributes much of the firms’ growth to both technological innovation and the need for accessible legal assistance in the nonprofit sector.

“The quicker we are able to adapt to new technologies, the better we can respond to the changing needs of nonprofits throughout their lifespans,” Kester said. “As a small firm, we rely on this technology to provide nonprofits with high-quality, sophisticated legal counsel.”
